With effect from 01 November 2010 all passengers travelling to US by air are required to provide the following information when making a reservation :-
Full name as it appears on Passport
Date of Birth
Gender
Redress Number ( if applicable )
The provision of this information is not optional and any passengers failing to comply will not be allowed to travel and risk possible fine.
It has been announced that effective from 8 September 2010 a charge of $14 ( approx £9 ) will be payable for all new online ESTA applications. ESTA is an electronic travel registration for British Passport holders that are eligible to travel to USA using Visa Waiver Program. It is valid for 2 years or life of passport if less than 2 years.
